Welcome to Gavin Abadi
Gavin Abadi’s father worked in the rug business, so the young Abadi gained exposure to antiques and art at an early age. As he grew up, though, Abadi developed a passion that was related yet, at the same time, all his own. He moved to Los Angeles when he was 18 to study the art of auctioneering. While there, he learned the details of the business, as well as the entertainment ends of the industry, before passing his written and oral exams. Abadi then moved to Atlanta, where he started Gavins Liquidations, a successful auction house. Several years later he also opened the Bubble Room, a restaurant and bar in Atlanta, with his cousin Justin Carbis. Today, Abadi has significantly expanded his business and now owns several auction houses as well as a number of high-caliber nightclubs and fine-dining establishments, all within Atlanta.
